Lake lived in Georgia with Glenda for the first year and a half of her life while Chris showed and coursed her. She returned home after Chris had finished about half of her bench championship, half of her ASFA field championship and a JC title. I quickly and easily finished her bench championship. While Lake was being shown she acquired a Best in Sweeps win at the Midwest Specialty under breeder Kay Niergarden of Northwind Whippets. And to date, with a few appearances at Specialties she has acquired two Award of Merits. One AOM at the AWC Midwest Specialty in 2001 under breeder judge Dr. John Shelton and another at the AWC North Central Specialty in 2002 under breeder judge Mr. Doug Arthur. A huge thank you goes out to all of the judges that have recognized her.
She is only a few points away from her ASFA field championship. I'm not sure if I dare try running her again. She is comic relief on the field and always manages to tumble and roll, then jumps up running. I'm not sure my nerves can't handle it.
Lake has been bred to "Butterbean" - Ch. Cherche's The Countryman, JC - pups Born June 19, 2007.
